Rethinking Scale

Philosophy of the Practice

Just as the Scale Rule is a design tool for transposing the design seamlessly from one measurement or scale to another, Scale Rule Architects is founded on the premise that value-add architecture and design can be realized through creative transposition of design solutions and specific customization of services regardless of project complexity. Every design aspect is influenced by scale; and this scale is the representation of each design distinctives from the realm of conceptualization to realization. Likewise, Scale Rule Architects strive to provide such realization through collaborative and customized initiatives to her clients.

Philosophically the Scale Rule represents the endless possibilities a design can morph within a specific programme and set of rules. It also represents the benchmark a design is measured against; thus, setting a standard of which the design should achieve be it aesthetic, construction, economic or simply for the community. Hence, the notion of Rethinking Scale and ideas is constantly challenged within the practice.

Scale Rule Architects as an architecture, design and build practice is rooted on the belief that every project should strive to achieve its distinctiveness and optimization in design, construction, sustainability and economic value.
